Epilepsy Training Program
While funding from the National Institutes of Health helps us officially support a small group of students, our training opportunities are open to everyone—undergrads, PhD students, and postdocs at UVA. We encourage all to join!

Our training grant generally supports PhD students for two years beginning in their 3rd year of graduate work (link). If interested, then please contact Manoj Patel or Mark Beenhakker.

Our training program consists of (1) our weekly Epilepsy Research Today course, (2) quarterly workshops, (3) our Data Cooperation, and (4) clinical perspectives.
